Here, director Clare Kearney and her team share what to look out for in terms of wallpaper design trends in 2023:
OTT Botanical Prints
The floral trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. In fact, it is only set to get bigger and bolder in 2023 with oversized botanical shapes and floral designs setting the scene for a nature-inspired scape indoors.
Top floral choices include the moody Isabelle in Navy with its hand-painted flowers on a distressed textured background, the Tapestry Floral Charcoal Pink Wallpaper with its beautiful large-scale country cottage-style floral design, or the tropical-inspired Leaves Exotic Green wallpaper.
Panoramic murals
Similar to wallpaper but without the repeat pattern, murals can make a huge design impact in a room and really bring a wall to life.
In 2023, landscape murals are set to be all the rage.
Try the Italian Landscape with Umbrella Pine Trees Mural , the Sunshine Forest Trees Mural or the Silver Flowers Mural with its large pressed flower design.
Maximalist patterns
Characterised by a more-is-more approach to design, the maximalist style is another hot trend in 2023 – and one that translates well into wallpapers. Think saturated colours, layered patterning, bold gestures and playful designs.
A great option is the Punica Heather Navy wallpaper with its bold and bright colours and flower and pomegranate design with metallic accents. Or the graphic Art Deco-inspired Charon Teal Gold wallpaper.
