Eshanima Fabrics: Missprint range of wallpaper
Established in 1982, Cape Town-based Eshanima Fabrics is home to a beautiful collection of over 600 fine fabrics and wall coverings.

This includes upholstery and curtain fabrics from German textile company Delius, upholstery and curtain collections in woven fabric and velvet by QBH, and Future Threads – a range of 100% upcycled and/or recycled and locally produced fabrics.
The latter speaks directly to Eshanima Fabrics’ drive towards environmentally friendly practices and products. “Sustainability in the textile business is something we’ve embraced and actively promote through our collection of upcycled textiles,” the company notes.
It’s also why they chose to stock the “forest-friendly and fabulous” Missprint range of wallpapers.
“It is important for modern design to be an active participant in a sustainable interior design legacy. Our wallpapers are PEFC and FSC certified, which means they are manufactured from wood obtained from well-managed forests. They are also printed with water-based inks and thus free from chemicals that are harmful to the environment.”
The range consists of 12 colour collections (which makes it a breeze to search through), each with a unique hand-drawn design that, as Missprint explains “celebrates the effect of pattern in the modern home”.
Some of our favourites include the graphic Frontier Seashell and Saplings (perfect for a little girl’s room) papers from the Pink Collection, the black-and-white Muscat Small print, which is ideal for a feature wall, from the Monochrome Collection and the botanical-inspired Fern Pampas, Dandelion Mobile and Tropics Jungle wallpapers from the Green Collection.
