St Leger & Viney: A Heritage of Wallpaper
The Signature II wallpaper collection from GP and J Baker celebrates the company’s fantastic heritage with some of its most beautiful and iconic designs. It is now available locally through St Leger & Viney.
The Signature II wallpaper collection is enhanced by the addition of the archival Chifu, a stunning interpretation of an 18th century Quing dynasty dragon robe. Two differing geometrics, Herringbone and Langdale Trellis harmonise perfectly both in colour and style with this superb collection.
Founded in 1884, G P & J Baker has been producing beautiful prints and weaves for over 100 years and now bring this expertise to wallcoverings too.
Following the success of their original Signature collection, they have revisited more archive designs and created this enticing new range of designs with a very contemporary colour palette; rich teal blues and greens, and charcoal greys together with soft blush pinks and vintage creams. Taking inspiration from China and India mixed with British country style – for sophisticated homestyling.
Magnificent patterns of Oriental peonies, and magnolias, leafy ferns, Persian landscapes, Chinese fire dragons and antique ikat textiles will inspire a whole range of looks and styles perfect for the modern interior.
The striking colour palette ranges from verdant greens on grounds of antique pink, Chinese yellow, rich teals, and carmine and bronze to cooler delft blues and sophisticated neutrals.
