Mavromac Presents The New Jane Churchill Collection
Bring colour and style into your interior with the latest collections from Jane Churchill – now available from Mavrocmac. It’s about colour, energy and all the things you need to elevate your space.
The Wilder collection takes an unashamedly decorative approach, with a diversity of inspiration ranging from Japanese cherry blossom to stylised zebra print and jungle motifs. The combination of embroidery and print is celebrated in the Wilder design, where fine stitched ikat pattern is overlaid onto a bold screen printed animal motif.
Bukhara explores similar techniques but to wildly different effect, with an oversized floral motif detailed in a dry, chain-stitch style embroidery. Impactful tonal embroideries such as Nemus and Clemence have a bold, impactful style, using coloured yarns to depict exotic vegetation. Chiana and Elianna have very different patterns yet both celebrate the signature style of a Jane Churchill embroidery with delightful hand finished detailing.
A celebration of traditional print designs from the Innis collection feature across both fabric and wallcoverings. Hand block printed diamonds are framed with pintuck raised stitching in the Zadie design whilst Priya Stripe celebrates the clean, layered colours achieved through screen printing.
Innis stripe is a woven colour stripe fabric, finished with hand block, pigment printing yet as a wallcovering it is a combination of flexo and surface printing that creates the hand-made appearance. Other designs that feature in both fabric and wallpaper include the tile-like Coralli design and the gentle curving fronds in the Millie design.
Impactful decorative stripes take centre stage in the Kansa Stripes collection, complemented by softer designs with refined detailing. Javalli Stripe has a finely woven structure, enhanced by satin embroidered diamonds to create an exceptional fabric with a handcrafted appearance. Medina Stripe is a lively zig-zag pattern, broken into multicoloured bands on bold ground colours. Refined ikat detailing is used to masterfully elevate both Harlie Stripe and Ivo Stripe without changing their relaxed nature.
An exciting addition to the Jane Churchill library of high performance plains is Kline, an attractive textural plain that uses bouclé yarn to dramatic effect. This bouclé of densely looped mixed yarns creates a deep, tactile and comforting texture with high performance characteristics. Hopper is dual purpose plain with an alluring textural appearance. This linen-mix fabric has a highly luxurious look and feel and a contrasting competitive price point.
