Mavromac Presents The New Collection From Colefax and Fowler
A collection of evocative designs that interpret decorative history, culture and craft are at the centre of the latest Colefax and Fowler launch.
Medora and Tarn Weaves
This new collection is skilfully expressed through a variety of densely woven and printed cloths, intricate embroidery and hand-finished detail in a richly coloured palette. Colourful cotton velvet features alongside an array of plains and small-scale weaves of exceptional quality. This subsequently helps to build upon a confident heritage feel, reminiscent of grand English house aesthetics yet quintessentially elegant and timeless.
Colefax & Fowler, distributed through Mavromac, founded in the 1930s is the longest established, and most respected interior decorating firm in Great Britain. The firm, therefore, holds a unique place in twentieth-century decorating history. Its heritage is the embodiment of John Fowler and Nancy Lancaster’s impeccable taste. Each new collection thus upholds the tradition of the brand. These are inspired by the historical palette and range of patterns, expanding on the company’s chintzes, woven fabrics, silks, sheers, trimmings, and wallpapers.
