Home Design Trends We Love
Decorate the home of your dreams with the latest in international seasonal trends. From Natural Elements, Feminine Accents or Modern Bohemian and more, we bring you five of our favourite home design trends to inspire this season from Black Fabrics!
- Floral Walls
For a modern-feeling floral choose the flouncy, oversized flower heads of the Zapara design, from the collection of the same name.
This is still a hot transitional trend – from the darker floral and botanical prints of winter – we’re moving to brighter shades of beautiful florals as feature wallpaper in the home. Wallpaper is a simple way to change up any interior. Florals are on trend and will add a freshness for the season! This trend does not end at wallpaper. Bring the look home with floral artwork, prints and fabrics!

2. Natural Elements
From the trending Scandivanian style of decor, we are seeing the presence of natural materials elevated in international interior trends. Get the look with beautiful raw wood, natural stone and rustic elements that embrace the power of the natural world. Keep it simple with natural tones and a mix of interesting natural textures in your rooms!
The Thackeray design, available in fabric and wallpaper, features berries and stylised flower heads. It’s a fabulous multi-directional damask. The added movement in the wallpaper is from the metallic effects printed into it.
3. Femininity
We love the soft blush shades that are making their way into the homes and hearts of avid designers this season. Think rose gold hues and soft furnishings that bring with it a soft, romantic and feminine flair to your home. Add decor accessories that soften the harder design edges of your scheme and introduce soft, romantic tones to add an elegant flair.

4. Farmhouse Chic
Sanderson Elysian collection
Farmhouse decor style has come a long way to becoming chicly modern through its use of mixing industrial, minimalist, and contemporary pieces. Give your space a contemporary twist with beautiful farmhouse elements to bring style to your home. Think rustic wooden furniture, oversized farm-style lighting and soft furnishings to suit this scheme.
Sanderson fabrics and wallpapers’ ‘Sail Away’ print from the Vintage 2 collection creates endless possibilities for the creation of interiors full of warmth and character!
5. Modern Bohemian
Bohemian style is making a comeback -albeit a contemporary take on an older trend. Instead of embracing a chaotic mix of styles, modern Bohemian trends call for a balance between old and new, modern and traditional. Add gorgeous gold fixtures to your cabinets and decor to bring a touch of glamour to this scheme!
