Eshanima Fabrics: Smart Velvet
Offering a luxurious feel and elegant matte finish, Eshanima Fabrics’s newly launched Smart Velvet collection is a stunning option for any space.
But good looks are only one reason why this fabric range is such a great choice. Not only is it available in 44 stunning matte hues from classic grays to a wide palette of beiges and several truly vibrant shades of green, navy, rust, and red, but it is also snag-resistant, fire-resistant, durable (with a 60 000 rub count it is extremely abrasion-resistant) and versatile – the fabrics can be used for upholstery or curtaining.
“Smart Velvet was created as an evolution of our bestselling Magic Velvet collection,” says Eshanima Fabrics.
So, how does it differ?
“This time, we went for a matte look. The surface of the Smart Velvet collection is completely free of shine, giving it a more modern character. It is also uniform in colour – while the shading effect is a charming characteristic of velvets, the new Smart Velvet collection guarantees complete colour consistency, eliminating the risk of shading.”
Established in 1982, Cape Town-based Eshanima Fabrics stocks a beautiful collection of over 600 fine fabrics and wall coverings.
This includes upholstery and curtain fabrics from German textile company Delius, upholstery and curtain collections in woven fabric and velvet by QBH, and Future Threads – a range of 100% upcycled and/or recycled and locally produced fabrics.
