Eshanima Fabrics
With an eye on global trends and their finger on the pulse of local preferences, Cape Town textile merchant, Eshanima Fabrics, has just unveiled several brand-new collections – adding even more options to its already extensive offering of over 600 fine fabrics and wallcoverings for homeowners and decorators to choose from.
Established in 1982, Eshanima Fabrics offers an extensive product catalogue. This includes upholstery and curtain fabrics from German textile company Delius, upholstery and curtain collections in woven fabric and velvet by QBH, and Future Threads – a range of 100% upcycled and/or recycled and locally produced fabrics.
New to their offering this season is Hevia, an elegant upholstery fabric perfect for decorative pillows, pouffes, sofas, chairs and headboards. Petproof, snag-resistant and non-flammable, each of the collection’s 28 colourways are textured fine braids of two subtly interwoven colours.
Also new on the market is the Linen Nation collection. This 100% linen range is available in 22 colourways and comes in three widths – 150cm, 220cm and 260cm – and various weights. An elegant staple fabric, this textured and elegant textile is a timeless investment in your interior.
Eshanima Fabrics also introduced a new fabric wallcovering from Vescom. “Stretching the possibilities of high-performance polyethene tape yarn, the Fraser design wall covering features the yarn in both its warp and weft – making it luxurious and innovative,” explains Eshanima Fabrics of the distinctive textile wall covering.
Combining luxurious looks with incredible durability thanks to its strong grid and mesh-like structure, Fraser is a super strong, high-performance textile wall covering. Available in nine colourways, including gold, silver and bronze, the wall covering’s shimmering surface allows it to subtly reflect the light in a space. This makes Fraser somewhat of a chameleon, a feature textile wall covering that can adapt to any interior, explains Eshanima Fabrics.
