The Wanderlust Collection: textiles for the travel thirsty
Lockdown and the restriction of movement that came with it, are in some way or other still lodged in our psyches. Eshanima’s Wanderlust Collection has its origins in the desire to travel and finding ways to do just that without leaving your home. It speaks to a restlessness and yearning to be in motion.
The collection has five ranges, which represent five idyllic travel destinations. The combinations colours, textures and prints are matched to the feeling the destination evokes – being it visual or tactile.
The interior destinations are:
Country Charm has flowers, deep red tones, blues, stripes and a bit of neutral to balance the colours and textures.
The Tropics range is a beautifully layered collection with unique prints and textures.
Desert Safari is a warm, neutral collection with subtle prints.
The Winter Landscapes range comes with subtle greys, powder pink and blue hues. It brings a sense of calmness.
Mountain Voyage is textured with strong colours and geometric designs.
The five ranges are made up of local and imported textiles. Some are soft and dreamy, while others are robust and multi-functional. All time favourites, like velvet, pop up in most of the ranges and our locally produced upcycled rPET fabrics provide colour and a fun element.
Our interiors provide wonderful opportunities for us to be creative and to make our inner dreamscapes into something that can displayed and touched. The Wanderlust Collection touches on something most of us love to do: to travel and experience new adventures.
