Laperle: Sharing a Love of Art & Decor
Laperle is a proudly SA brand, all about luxury linen, decor and cottons. The business is the culmination of a long-time dream that became a reality in May 2018 when the first store opened its doors in the heart of Paarl Western Cape. With a passion for everything organic and natural, Laperle prides itself on being pure and 100% locally produced.
Fynbos Aprons
“At Laperle, we have a love for art and décor, and always find a way to combine the two. Some of our most popular scatter cushions and table cloths are those inspired or reflective of famous paintings such as; The Girl with the pearl earring by Vermeer.”
Laperle also loves finding inspiration from indigenous Fauna and Flora. Where better than in our own backyard where some of the most amazing fynbos can be found. As such, they recently launched a fynbos range featuring these stunning plants such as the Wild Mountain Protea and the Erica Grandiflora.
Fynbos tableware
Furthermore, the team loves to collaborate and supply products to industry experts in their field. They have worked on a supplier basis with creative Misi Overturf for the show, In die Sop. Supplying everything from wallpaper to tablecloths and curtains.
Another exciting project was with Lientjie Wessels, Wilhelmina and Annake Müller for their show Koskuns met Lientjie en Wilhelmina. The show features a range of authentically South African dishes with a modern twist. In each episode of culinary genius, Lientjie and Wilhelmina create cooking works of art such as malva pudding and skaapkaiings with krummelpap. Laperle had the honour of creating bespoke aprons to match their food mastery.
All in all, whatever your natural fabric needs… Be it big or small, be it an existing design or your very own unique ones, the team will be able to assist and bring your memories to life.

The brand has also recently started a blog to educate South Africans on linen, as well as the best practice when caring for these linen products.
