Botanical Inspiration from Room 13 Collection
Room 13 Collection’s latest designs are inspired by nature and the gods. We love the floral undertones, bright colours and versatility of each unique design.
Ambriosa
First up, their latest “Ambrosia” design means ‘food of the gods’. How fitting then that this design was chosen for the interior of the newly revamped Food Barn in Noordhoek! The design team from Room 13 Collection met with chef Franck Dangereux for a delicious lunch. Inspired by his love for food, they were driven to create this new design, composed of edible botanicals such as artichokes, pomegranates, star anise, string beans and a variety of herbs. This magical print is available as wallpapers and textiles. You can shop for Ambosia online here. New Botanical Offshoots Named “Antheia” after the goddess of flowers and blossoms, this print is in full bloom, offering a fresh floral perspective. Room 13 Collection also has a bespoke “Aphrodite” design, named after the goddess of love and beauty. With whimsical prints in striking colours, Aphrodite is a beautiful design. The Room 13 Collection is a unique range of textiles, cushions and wallpaper designed and produced by Room 13 Design (www.room13.co.za). Based in Cape Town, their boutique graphic design studio has been crafting beautiful things for over ten years.
