Hospitality by Design: How Ambiente 2026 Reimagines the Guest Experience

Hospitality is no longer defined by service alone. It is spatial, sensory, and increasingly intentional, and in February 2026, that evolution comes sharply into focus at Ambiente. From 6 to 10 February, Frankfurt becomes the global meeting point for those shaping how guests experience space, from first impression to final detail.

This year’s edition places hospitality and interior design firmly at the centre, introducing fresh formats and a strengthened B2B2B offering designed to serve everyone from hoteliers and restaurateurs to interior designers and contract specialists. Under the banner Ambiente Projects, the fair brings together HoReCa, Hospitality Interiors, and Contract Business into one coherent ecosystem, streamlining planning, furnishing, and equipping into a single, purposeful journey.

A standout addition is the Interior Design & Architecture Hub in Hall 3.1, complete with an integrated Academy designed by Katty Schiebeck. Known for her sensory clarity and emotionally attuned lighting, Schiebeck’s walk-in installation explores how hospitality takes spatial form through material choices, lighting, and atmosphere that feel both grounded and expressive. Nearby, Interior Looks offers a tightly curated platform for hospitality buyers, while At the Table with Nature introduces a considered material showcase focused on health and sustainability.

Knowledge-sharing also takes a new turn with the Hospitality Academy, curated in partnership with Westwing. Positioned as a conceptual bridge between halls, the Academy delivers expert insight, brand storytelling, and practical inspiration, reinforcing the idea that design literacy is now essential to hosting well.

For the first time, Saturday is dedicated to Hotelier’s Day, bringing decision-makers together for panels, guided tours, and honest conversation around the sector’s most pressing challenges, from staffing to rising costs and shifting guest expectations.

Live experiences round out the programme. The Kitchen Show animates Galleria 1 South with culinary demonstrations, while immersive brand presentations prove that storytelling has a powerful place in the B2B world.

At Ambiente 2026, hospitality is not simply displayed; it is examined, refined, and reimagined. What emerges is a vision of tomorrow’s guest experience: thoughtful, tactile, and designed to endure.
