Paris Design Week – The Ultimate In Luxury
Paris Design Week 2019 is now on from 5 to 14 September. Following a now well-established tendency, it is set to transform the City of Light with special events, projects and presentations.
Overlapping the Maison et Objet show and uniting an increasingly international design community, Paris Design Week will certainly put you up to date with the latest design trends while presenting the future ones.
For one whole week, Paris becomes the international capital of design and here you can expect to encounter over 100 designers from all over the world who will come to exhibit their latest creations. It is the ultimate in luxury and design – in a city exploding with passion, fashion and the latest design trends.

t a time when new collections are popping up in stores and the new concepts for the autumn season are being launched, the event brings together the talents and forces of retailers, galleries, showrooms, hotels and restaurants for eight days to share their experience in design and creation with the public.
Over 200 galleries, design schools, and design studios will be involved to present us the best of contemporary creation for the Maison&Objet Paris fair.
This year, Paris Design Week is about design in the city including 9 themed walks in 4 neighbourhoods: the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area, the Halles-Marais-Bastille neighbourhood, the Opéra-Concorde-Etoile area and the Barbès-Stalingrad-Saint-Ouen Flea Market area.
Late-night openings, debates and installations bring the city to life, echoing the new releases for autumn and kicking off the pre-holiday sales period. This latest edition intends to forge even stronger and broader ties between those involved in Parisian design, but also to strengthen the event’s technical dimension with the creation of the Projets special itinerary.
Established to mirror the development of the MAISON&OBJET PROJETS show, this new themed itinerary invites specifiers and private individuals with development projects to enter the participants’ showrooms to meet interior design professionals – a unique early-autumn opportunity to start planning home improvement and décor projects.
