MMT By Design with Vega School

Meet the finalists of MMT by Design 2017: A MMT – Mike Made This + Vega School project!

Of the 50 entries received from 2nd and 3rd year Interior Design students at Vega School, 5 finalists were chosen. We now ask you, the public, to vote for the design you think should be the winner! Lucky draws will take place every second week and you could walk away with some awesome spot prizes. Only one vote per person is allowed.

Umfece light

Figa Light

Introducing the stunning Figa Light by Tayla Eastwood. A wooden toy zebra that rests on Tayla’s desk sparked the inspiration to create a lamp that was self-supporting and which could be shaped into different positions. Lux Verticula

The Lux Verticula, which translates from Latin as ‘light swivel’. This is a retro-inspired, multi-functional lamp which can be free-standing, wall mounted or used as a low-slung desk lamp. This design is inspired by the Art Deco design movement, known for its geometric shapes and sleek, minimally-decorated surfaces, which was prominent in the early 1900’s.
