Introducing the 2025 Design Districts at 3daysofdesign: Exploring Creativity Across Copenhagen
Get ready to feel the pulse of global design like never before. As 3daysofdesign gears up for its 2025 return, Copenhagen is set to transform into a living, breathing showcase of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship. This year’s edition introduces eight dynamic Design Districts, each echoing the bold and unfiltered spirit of the 2025 theme: KEEP IT REAL. From storied architecture to cutting-edge concepts, the Danish capital invites the world to explore design in its most authentic form.
In keeping with the festival’s emphasis on authenticity, individuality, and care for both people and planet, the Design Districts represent a commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and community. These curated districts highlight design’s power to be transformational, intentional, and deeply human.
“Copenhagen is emblematic of the multi-faceted meaning behind this year’s theme KEEP IT REAL. It’s a sustainable and open-minded metropolis that celebrates diversity. Our festival embodies our ethos to provide a visibility platform for different people with different perspectives. All in the context of Copenhagen’s rich cultural heritage, reputation for innovation, and legacy of design.”
— Signe Byrdal Terenziani, Managing Director, 3daysofdesign
Each year, 3daysofdesign reimagines how visitors experience the city—pushing boundaries and offering new perspectives on Copenhagen’s evolving design story. With this year’s festival, the addition of new i–Points brings deeper coherence and accessibility to the visitor journey.
Connecting the Dots: Introducing the i–Points
Designed to enrich the visitor experience, 3daysofdesign i–Points act as hubs for information, inspiration, and interaction across each Design District. These physical focal points make it easier to meet friends and colleagues, explore installations, or join guided Design Walks. They also mark the debut of the festival’s District Managers and Design Ambassadors—a new initiative set to enhance the overall sense of presence and hospitality.
To unify the festival experience, a new symbol for 3daysofdesign—developed in collaboration with brand agency e–Types and designed by Thomas Lykke of OEO Studio—will guide visitors citywide.
