IID Kramerville Tour 2026: A Full-Day Design Experience for Built-Environment Professionals

Returning to Johannesburg on 26 February, the IID Kramerville Tour invites built-environment professionals into the city’s most dynamic design precinct for a full day of learning, dialogue and practical insight. Developed in collaboration with KSA’s Kramerville Camino, this carefully curated experience is designed for interior designers, architects, technologists, draughtsmen, decorators and interior architects who want more than inspiration – and tools they can use immediately.

Rather than a traditional showroom walkabout, the tour unfolds as a sequence of business-focused pop-ups. Each participating showroom hosts live panel discussions centred on the real challenges facing today’s design practices, with topics drawn directly from hundreds of industry professionals who identified what they need to know to protect their work, grow their businesses and stay relevant.

The day is structured across three distinct blocks, each anchored by leading brands in the Kramerville design ecosystem. Block One brings together Blum with Baker Baynes, Roche Bobois with Cox Yeats, BoConcept with Genesis Insurance, and Planet World, tackling BIM essentials, contracts, insurance, and the future of invisible smart-home design. Block Two, hosted at Linear Concepts, features Duravit with Fourways Group and Cinema Architect, exploring design, specification and architectural collaboration. Block Three expands the conversation across TCF Kramerville in partnership with SA Décor & Design, alongside FINfloor, Easylife Kitchens, Moremi Kitchens, Pascal Kitchen Specialist and UniPanel SA, offering a broad, integrated view of materials, surfaces and kitchen design expertise.

Beyond insight, the experience is also a smart professional investment. Attendance for the full day earns 1.0 CPD point, making it as valuable as it is engaging. With event maps, clear routing, and organised pick-up and drop-off stations, the logistics are thoughtfully handled, allowing participants to focus on learning, conversation and connection.

For creative professionals working in the built environment, the IID Kramerville Tour is more than an event. It’s a chance to step back, sharpen perspective, and leave better equipped to navigate an increasingly complex professional landscape.
