Design Elevated: Grandcreators Redefines the Future of Interior Design at Ambiente
Curated interior design is entering a bold new chapter as Grandcreators, Messe Frankfurt’s signature design forum, readies for its debut alongside Ambiente 2027. Originally set for an earlier unveiling, the much-anticipated launch has been rescheduled to ensure the participation of leading international premium brands – a move that promises to elevate the experience from impressive to extraordinary.
“Grandcreators thrives on the presence of renowned design houses and meaningful industry connections,” says Philipp Ferger, Vice President Consumer Goods Fairs. “Given the current market climate, extending the timeline allows us to deliver an event with the impact and relevance it deserves.”
Developed in partnership with Stylepark and e15, Grandcreators will unite global names in furniture and interior design, from Thonet and Vitra to Zeitraum, Cor, and Albrecht Jung, with top-tier architects, designers, and hospitality decision-makers. The curated matchmaking format guarantees at least five pre-arranged appointments for each participating brand, fostering authentic relationships beyond the traditional trade fair model.
Meanwhile, the interior design offering at Ambiente 2026 continues to expand through Ambiente Projects. This dedicated platform will gather everything the commercial design sector needs to plan and furnish the spaces of tomorrow, spanning contract, hospitality, and office environments. Visitors can expect immersive installations such as the Interior Looks brand area – now joined by Acapulco Design, Conde House Europe, and Müller Möbelfabrikation, as well as the new Interior Design & Architecture Hub, designed by Katty Schiebeck.
With Ambiente Talents celebrating its 25th anniversary and a lineup featuring Sebastian Herkner and Lanzavecchia + Wai, Hall 3.1 is set to be the beating heart of design inspiration. Here, innovation meets collaboration, and the global design community gathers to shape what’s next.
