The Iconic Casino Royal Palm
An iconic destination on France’s glamorous Côte d’Azur, Palm Beach Cannes recently reopened after an extensive renovation.
With a rich history dating back to 1929, the resort has been a focal point for prestigious events and a symbol of opulence and luxury in the French Riviera. Today, Palm Beach Cannes continues to enchant guests with its exclusive restaurants, bars, clubs, spa, pool and outdoor spaces, offering a world of leisure and high-end entertainment.
Reimagined with contemporary glamour in mind by Cannes-based architects Caprini & Pellerin, who skillfully preserved the original Hispano-Moresque and Art Deco architecture while ushering the site into the 21st century. Located on the prestigious Pointe Croisette and spanning 23,000 square metres, the project is one of Europe’s most significant developments in recent years.
The extensive remodel includes the addition of Cannes’s first 43m saltwater pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, wellness area, and 13 luxury boutiques, as well as a 1,200 square metre ballroom inspired by the vibrant parties of the Roaring Twenties that were held there. Palm Beach now also houses a private members club, offering access to exclusive members’ boutiques, a member’s bar, wellness facilities and an impressive pool.
Perfectly positioned between Monaco and St Tropez and close to Nice International Airport, Cannes has emerged as a hotspot, hosting prestigious global events, including the Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Lions, ILTM, and MIPIM. With a year-round calendar of cultural activities and a rich tradition of hospitality, the city seamlessly blends professional and leisure pursuits. Palm Beach Cannes heralds a new golden era on the French Riviera.
