Plascon House Tour: A Natural & Casual Retreat
This open planned Parisian apartment has been designed around comfort and combined with wooden, wicker and metal elements. The pale colour scheme creates a light, inviting and casual interior.
We simply adore the brightness of this space – light is a must-have ingredient in any fresh, spacious or contemporary abode. Here, windows span the width of the living room walls, with light bursting through to the interior and creating the notion of a clean, crisp and fresh space. Paired with lighter shades of beige and white, and we have a modern, minimalist and striking space that acts as a blank canvas for the owners. A kitchen island is a perfect addition to this apartment, offering additional prep space, storage and cleverly housing the kitchen sink. A side door, in a rustic wooden finish, hints at the added storage capacity of this feature in the kitchen. The dining room is a minimalist and casual take on an otherwise formal dining space. With an eclectic mix of chairs and an oversized mirror poised on the adjacent wall, we get the sense that this is a playful, energy-filled room that would be great for casual dinners and entertaining. The bedroom too is clean and crisp in shades of cream and white. A bookcase adds some colour and storage to this space, while modern white linen oozes a sense of unrefined elegance – the perfect addition to a tranquil master suite. A stand-out feature in the bathroom is most certainly the stone feature wall which adds depth and character to this space. We also love the choice of freestanding tub in a metallic finish that is simply stunning. Contact: Plascon
