Louis Vuitton Debuts Daring Objets Nomades & Trunks Collection at Milan Design Week 2025
Ushering in a bold new era of luxury, Louis Vuitton unveiled its latest Objets Nomades and Trunks Collection at Milan Design Week 2025, setting an inspiring new standard for refined living.
Merging innovation with exceptional craftsmanship, the collection reimagines everyday elegance through exquisite materials, visionary design, and timeless savoir-faire. From furniture and lighting to homeware, the Louis Vuitton Home Collections transform daring ideas into extraordinary creations, each piece brought to life by some of the world’s most talented designers. Meanwhile, the Maison’s iconic trunks continue to blend heritage craftsmanship with the art of contemporary travel.
Louis Vuitton’s most playful collection yet, the lineup includes a leather record player sculpted into the shape of a blooming flower and a petite monogrammed travel trunk fitted with compartments for espresso cups, silver spoons, and a gleaming silver Moka pot. While furniture designs by Estúdio Campana, India Mahdavi, Patricia Urquiola, and Cristián Mohaded celebrate the artistry of Louis Vuitton’s ateliers, seamlessly transferring their mastery of leathercraft from handbags and accessories into the world of homewares.
The highlight of the showcase, however, was a vibrant exhibition of textile works and tableware featuring designs by celebrated graphic artist Fortunato Depero. A leading figure of the Futurist movement, Depero wove fantastical elements of Italian culture and folklore into vivid, whimsical forms inspired by textile marquetry. Plates danced with colourful depictions of parrots, pelicans, horses, and monkeys, while rugs, displayed as striking wall hangings, featured gently abstracted still lifes of flowers and fish, arranged against a checkerboard backdrop that subtly echoed Louis Vuitton’s iconic Damier pattern.
Blending creativity and craftsmanship, Louis Vuitton’s new collection brings a fresh, timeless spirit to the way we live and dream.
