Dwell Interiors have extensive experience of over 30 combined years in the industry. Their staff compliment comprises dedicated and skilled Interior Architects, Designers and décor administrators. The manageable core of key people ensures all projects receive dedicated attention from the Principals, Kelly Andriés and Lauren Horsfall.
The team run projects from inception – with space planning and conceptual design – through to the design development of detailed working drawings and specifications, while managing all budgeting, contractual tender processes and site supervision during construction.
The below Umhlanga residence is just one example of how Dwell Interiors can successfully put together a winning design scheme. The team were fully responsible for the interior design and décor of this home in Umhlanga.
The end result is both contemporary and timeless with wooden accents offset by deep blues, beige and browns in this modern design scheme. High-end furnishings were chosen to complement the luxurious ambience of this home.
Colour, finishes and lighting work together in this home – the use of a wooden screen creates a semi-private living space, purposefully separated from the stairs which lead to the rest of the home. We love that the living area is open plan, creating a beautiful symmetry in the living areas between lounge and dining room, and a natural flow between these functional spaces.
Below, we get the full effect of the wooden screens used in this home. Along with superior wood panelled ceiling and this entire stairwell oozes modern sophistication and a richness of tone and texture. Striking lighting works wonderfully here to highlight this space.
