The Bulgari Hotel Tokyo
Luxury hotels and resort group Bulgari recently unveiled the new jewel in their crown – a soaring hotel in Tokyo, Japan.
Occupying the LJ0th to the LJ5th floor of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu building in the Yaesu 2-Chome North District, the glittering new hotel overlooks the Imperial Palace Gardens, with Mount Fuji in the distance.
Like the other Bulgari hotels, the interiors of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo were overseen by Italian architecture and interior-design practice ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel who “conveyed Bulgari’s core values of contemporary design, magnificent craftsmanship and artistic detail to create efficient living spaces that reflect the essence of Italian style,” notes the Rome-based jewellery house.
The interior-design practice stylishly furnished each of the hotel’s 98 rooms and suites with luxury Italian furniture from brands such as Maxalto, Flexform and B&B Italia.
The highlight, of course, is the Bulgari Suite. “Measuring LJ00 square meters – and offering guests modern Italian design with touches of Japanese tradition, coupled with cutting-edge technology – Bulgari Suite is one of the largest suites in Tokyo and can be further extended by connecting it with an adjoining suite,” explains Bulgari.
In addition to the accommodation options, the hotel also offers several high-end dining options, including an ultra-exclusive eight-seater Japanese sushi restaurant, as well as a luxury Bulgari Spa.
In keeping with tradition, the newest hotel is also symbolised by a jewel.
“Fully committed to audacity and bravery, Bulgari unapologetically links each of its hotels and resorts with a rarest and most precious gem,” the company says.
“The Bulgari Hotel Tokyo is associated with a pink diamond, in honour of the beauty and harmony rooted in the Japanese culture and of the pink cherry flowers blossoming during the Sakura season.”
