TASK Interior Styling
Born out of a love for beautiful items, interior stylist and businesswoman Mali Langa established Task Interiors Styling in 2016.
“From a young age, I’d watch my aunt go about filling her home with interesting decorations, rugs, furniture and curtains and she’d always style them in a way that was so different but so modern. I liked that,” says Langa.
The watching and liking turned into a hobby and soon a fully-fledged new career and business when she received an opportunity to put her skills to the test on her first project, a private residential home where she was allowed to turn the empty property into a beautiful family home.
The result? A stylish yet welcoming abode filled with character and quirk.
There was no denying her talent and so she set about building a career, advocating for innovation through collaboration as the foundation for TASK Interior Styling.
“I’ve built the business from an infant idea by collaborating with the right team, enabling creativity and innovation to flourish. It’s a winning formula and it’s evident in the work TASK Interior Styling produces,” she says.
Today, the company creates tailored spaces for residential and commercial clients, offering interior design, interior styling and project and site management services.
In addition, there is also a small but luxurious retail component to the company. The TASK luxury collection of homeware and accessories, including scatter cushions, art and home fragrances, is available to shop online.
