Spotlight Pop Interior Design Studio
Founded by creative trio Catia, Giselle and Terri in 2017, KZN-based POP Interior Design Studio is known for its custom commercial, hotel, restaurant and residential interiors – each characterised by the team’s meticulous attention to detail.
“We believe that every detail matters,” they say. “The quality of the light in the room, the textural layering, the depth of the tones. We consider all these elements and piece them all together meticulously all the while ensuring that our client’s vision is brought to life.”
This exacting attention to the finer details is exactly what made the studio’s latest project – a bedroom study in soft pinks – such a success.
“Our little client had a very specific list of requirements for her space. A four-poster bed and pink walls were two of the top priority requirements,” explains the team.
By carefully layering pastel-pink shades with white and cream hues, as well as warm, honey-blonde wood, gold accents and natural textures, the trio elegantly steered the pink bedroom in a sophisticated, modern direction.
“We love how this gentle space is perfect for relaxation and spacious enough for play dates with friends,” the trio says.
Apart from a contemporary white four-poster, brass and terrazzo decor accessories, rattan furniture pieces, contemporary designer lighting, and black window frames add a pop of freshness to the space, all elegantly offset by the prerequisite blush-coloured walls.
“We are passionate about how we curate and believe that the key to great design lies in the vital development and implementation of the design details as well as in the seamless merging of architectural schemes with the design of their interior spaces,” concludes the team of this pretty in pink dream bedroom.
