Plascon House Tour: Re-Awakened History
In Comporta Portugal, a housing refuge for farmers of days old gets a renovation that is rustic, charming and warm, reflecting the history and style of bygone days.
If you are drawn to quaint, rural villages then this house tour is for you. Stark white walls are the base of this home, where Portuguese craftsmanship and rustic elements are included for warmth. Local wares, reflecting the culture and history of the area make magic in this welcoming space. Ceramics, rattan, mats and products made from cork bark can be found sparingly adorning each room. We love the ample space outside, a perfect setting for relaxing time spend in nature with friends and family. The thatch roof remains as a relic, reinforced with local pine beams.
