Plascon House Tour: Cape Cod’s Seaside Retreat

Nothing shouts seaside living better than a home filled with the calming tones and textures of the ocean. This remarkable Cape Cod dwelling is a feast for the senses with gorgeous raw wooden furniture, a stone feature wall and rustic elements that are reminiscent of a life near the ocean.

We love the arched ceilings that add space and depth to this cosy interior. A rustic ladder adds character and function as a means to get the top level of this space. The living area is inviting in shades of grey and white.

With a mutlitude of soft finishings, from throws, scatters and even a playful crocheted ottoman on the floor, the living space feels lived in and oozes country-style comfort. The neutral colours are soothing here – a tranquil, family abode that shows off careful attention to detail. In true Cape Cod fashion, this home emits a sense of casual elegance – a relaxed beach retreat with all the luxuries one would need for modern living! The family kitchen is both spacious and stylish. With modern finishes, it makes a stunning impression, from the contemporary light fittings and cabinetry to the metallic bar stools and family-sized island that takes centre stage in this area. We love the light, airy tones of this kitchen with the incorporation of sky lights that bring in an abundance of natural lighting. The bedroom further takes on a Cape Cod country chic style, with a stunning wooden poster-bed and soft draping that adds a romantic ambiance to this room. We love the use of vintage window frames as features in this room and the neutral palette with clean white linen is perfectly modern and on trend. A neutral statement rugs adds appeal and helps to anchor the furniture in this room. Contact: Plascon Trends Via
