Oversized rooms, high ceilings and large regal entryways are the hallmarks of this historic residence. Ornate ceiling details, floor to ceiling windows and arched architectural details hint at the home’s origin, first built in the 1820s! Designers brought this home into the 21st century through the use of modern furniture, bold wallpaper offerings and custom joinery to enhance the living space.

Each room celebrates a different colour palette. In the living room, violet brings life and energy to this space. In every room, there is a celebration of colour with fun prints and bold florals that add to the overall design scheme.

The kitchen is striking with customised cabinetry and bold copper light pendants that add style and sophistication to this open plan area. Warm wooden flooring adds depth here while light infiltrates through this space, thanks to the oversized window that dominated in the dining nook.

Pops of blue and pink add interest in the master bedroom. Not a conventional colour palette, but here the colours bring energy and cosiness to an otherwise large space. A bold Victorian-styled bed features prominently in this space and designers created a glamorous seating area with striking upholstered furniture and coffee table at the one end of the bed.

The dining room too is a celebration of colour and textures. Soft drapes, gorgeous detailed upholstered seating and timber flooring create a homely and eclectic space. We love how the pops of colour work together to create interest and bring elegant charm to this room.
