Nerve Dezign – A Lifestyle & Design Brand

Nerve Dezign offers a unique experience and service in interior design and decor in South Africa. Inspired by all things design, the female-owned company aims to show clients a true reflection through their work.

Having met in college whilst studying towards a BA in interior design, owners Henna and Fefe both had such great passion for design, being inspired by design itself, fashion, art and fine dining, that they decided to start Nerve, a lifestyle brand to help show people just how design can affect their lives positively.

Sunita, the third partner, came in with her knowledge of business and finance to help the team put their idea on paper and Nerve was established, a 100% BEE female-owned interior design firm.

Nerve Dezign offers interior design services, interior decorating, custom-designed furniture services as well as outsourcing services. This is mainly aimed at designers who do not have time to focus on the little aspects of projects such as mood boards, concept designs or sample boards. The team aims to be different because they do not see other firms or designers as competition but more as partners to collaborate with on unique designs to bring something new to the public.

Kitchen and dining room design:

Nerve Dezign was tasked with a redesign of an entire kitchen (above). The old one had extremely dark cherry wood and black granite tops, although there were tons of windows around the space, it still seemed very dark and small. They kept the actual carcass of the units exactly the same and replaced the doors with a lighter grey wood, replaced the granite with a lush looking white marble and replaced the pendant lights above the kitchen island to give it a more modern look and feel.

Office Bathroom:

Nerve Dezign recently purchased a new property for their main office. This was a full demolition and redesign. This is the bathroom that was re-designed. Something bold, relates to the brand, and is equally fun and luxurious. The vanity was custom designed and adds a touch of glam with gold basins with infinity mirrors. The wallpaper was done by Cara Saven wall designs.

Bedroom:

This showcases a custom designed headboard which has plug point built in for ease of access, done for an apartment based in the Eye of Africa golf estate.
