Elegant & Enduring: Sofie Noyen’s Family Home with Dekton by Cosentino
When renowned interior and food stylist Sofie Noyen embarked on renovating her family home, her vision was clear: create a space that marries style, durability, and functionality. Drawing inspiration from Belgian interior masters Axel Vervoordt and Vincent Van Duysen, she blended the warmth of farmhouse living with clean modern lines. At the heart of this transformation was Cosentino’s Dekton surfaces, chosen for both kitchen and outdoor spaces. Be insspired by Cosentino.
In the kitchen – the true centre of family life – Sofie selected Dekton Keon for her countertops. As a food stylist, she needed a surface that could withstand the realities of daily use without sacrificing elegance. Dekton delivered: resistant to scratches, stains, and heat, Keon is as practical as it is visually seamless, perfectly complementing her minimalist design. Installed by countertop specialist Louis Culot, the finish achieves a refined, contemporary look while remaining easy to maintain.
Outdoors, Sofie turned to Dekton Albarium to ground her garden and extension. The light, fresh tone harmonises with nature while echoing the architectural precision of the home’s modern additions. Spanning 50m², the Albarium tiles create a serene, timeless effect that feels both welcoming and enduring. Dekton’s high resistance to weather, temperature shifts, and heavy use ensures the surface remains beautiful for years to come, a natural extension of her design ethos.
With Dekton, Cosentino proves that surfaces are more than finishes; they are foundations for living. In Sofie Noyen’s home, this material is not just part of the design; it is what makes the design last.
