Hoi P’loy: A New Chapter for Nat & Mae
Hoi P’loy may have been quiet, but behind the scenes they’ve been hard at work, polishing details, refining the feel, and ensuring that their first stationery range lives up to their bigger vision: crafting tools for living that endure. And with that spring feeling in the air, it’s time to step into the light again.
Hoi P’loy believes in the quiet satisfaction that comes from using something well-made. The more you handle it, the more it becomes a part of you – gathering character, patina, and the stories of its use. These aren’t objects that are destined for landfills; they are companions made to assist you in your craft and be passed on.
While Nat & Mae as a brand might be new, it’s built on over a decade of design and manufacturing experience. As an award-winning, husband and wife team, Guy and Ploy have spent the last ten years honing their craft: designing and making products that blend precision, utility and beauty.
Nat and Mae is the next chapter of that story: a brand dedicated to high-quality lifestyle tools that are made to last. The name itself comes from their two children, serving as a reminder that the things we use and keep should carry meaning.
On 6 September, Nat & Mae visited the SA Pen Show at Makers Landing, unveiling the first chapter of their range: a set of finely crafted brass stationery. A limited number was available for sale on the day, with pre-orders open as well. Nat & Mae also ran a special giveaway of their Brass Hex Pen.
This is just the beginning. Their family of timeless tools is growing – and they’re excited for you to be a part of their story.
