Apax Interior Architecture & Design Presents A Blissful Residence
This family home revamp was informed by the beautiful dune surrounds and proximity to the popular beach of Cape Town. Masterfully redone by the team from Apax Interior Architecture & Design, the end result is a blissful coastal home with contemporary touches.
A neutral backdrop allowed for splashes of rich colour to identify the activity within this striking Blouberg residence. Living and entertainment areas cover a large first floor with bedrooms, bathrooms and office space on the first floor.
Bright open spaces define this home and add to the airy, light and welcoming ambience created in each space. Light infiltrates the home through large windows while the interior is minimalist and modern with many Scandi touches that include wood, light neutral tones and a mix of textural elements.
Clean simple lines add to the contemporary look of this coastal home. Here the focus is on clean, simple lines, minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing beauty.
Simple accents include modern framed artwork and a bold curved wood and metal staircase that makes a real statement in this home. Hints of luxury upholstery add to the aesthetics here in the form of stylish seating from the dining room and living space to the bathroom where a lofty day bed provides a comfy spot to soak up the luxuries of an elegant space.
