Going Green with Belgotex And Boogertman + Partners Architects

Belgotex has collaborated with Boogertman + Partners Architects to bring us a fantastic project in which they floored 950 sqm of the company’s new Johannesburg headquarters.

Having been on a green journey since 1991, Belgotex continually seeks out ecologically sustainable manufacturing methods and aims to develop eco-friendly products. Today Belgotex is committed to asking more of themselves and less of the planet in all that they do.

Which is why they are proud to have their flooring used in a building that earned top green certification for energy efficiency, reduced water usage and waste recycling. Lower utility costs aside, tenant wellbeing was a top priority in the project, which supported the environmentally sustainable transformation of the built environment.

Scroll through these many images to see how Belgotex and Boogertman + Partners Architects have committed to a Green Building Council South Africa 5 Star Green Star Rating for Interiors, without compromising on product performance or on trend design.

Sharing a vision for innovative and contextually responsible design, Boogertman + Partners Architects work closely with urban designers, landscape architects, interior designers, architects and technicians in a collaborative creative process that seeks to find holistic solutions to each individual brief.

Naturally, when it came to flooring their new Johannesburg headquarters in Bryanston, Boogertman + Partners Architects collaborated with Belgotex.

950 sqm of flooring – including Prime carpet tiles, Country Club grass and recycled rubber flooring, Sportec – were used in a build that facilitates employee wellness by incorporating a canteen for daily meals and shared spaces to interact socially.
