Lekkerwater Beach Lodge
Named one of the world’s top 100 must-visit destinations by Time magazine, you can be certain that there’s something truly special about Lekkerwater Beach Lodge.
In fact, there are a few somethings.
Part of the De Hoop Nature Reserve on SA’s east coast, about three hours’ drive from Cape Town, the Perfect Hideaways property is not only located in one of the most beautiful places on earth with a six-kilometre stretch of private beach but it also boasts gorgeous, liveable interiors.
The airy open-plan design affords guests uninterrupted views for kilometres (making it a wonderful whale-watching spot), and is decked out with stylish beach-inspired decor, including rattan and driftwood furniture and chic blue-and-white accessories.
The communal main lodge features a wrap-around deck and plunge pool, and there’s also a wood-fired hot tub on the beach.
The seven guest rooms, meanwhile, have floor-to-ceiling windows, making the most of the spectacular location and the ocean views.
Each room also features a luxurious private bathroom, wood-burning stove and private verandah.
The lodge can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests (14 adults and a maximum of two children six years or older) and is available for exclusive use.
