Unearthed: Raw Organic Decor
Beautifully capturing the raw, organic nature of the materials from which it is crafted, Unearthed’s range of artisanal decor and homeware is a beautiful addition to any space.
The wholesale supplier prides itself on its extensive range of trend-forward products, all handcrafted in South Africa. “We are a family business led by an aunt and niece duo, both with an unwavering dedication to design and a love for sustainability,” explains owners Sam and Marijke.
“Our commitment to sustainability can also be seen in the materials we use. Working with Blue Gumwood, an alien vegetation that poses a threat to indigenous flora and water resources, we play our part in conservation efforts while creating beautiful, sustainable products.”
Unearth also places a strong emphasis on ethical practices and local empowerment, collaborating with independent artisans who are masters of their craft to create a range of items, including candleholders, stools, lighting designs and soft furnishings.
Seamlessly blending global trends with a unique African touch, these designs are all rooted in the Wabi Sabi philosophy, which celebrates the unique imperfections of natural materials, whether a natural crack or variations in size and colour.
“We are excited to embark on a creative journey with you, bringing the essence of South African craftsmanship and the spirit of Africa to homes and spaces worldwide. Together, we can weave magic and create unforgettable experiences for your customers.”
