Tina Frey Introduces New 2018 Collections
Tina Frey Designs is thrilled to introduce their newest collections for the season ahead. This renowned US-design powerhouse remains on the cusp of innovation with a range of beautiful, modern designs in resin, metal, paper stationery, posters and textiles. Handmade with care, Tina Frey is all about the finer things in life.
This season, Tina explores vibrant colours in the form of new Bon Bon Boxes. Experimenting with scale, the new Lidded Side Table and Coffee Table adds modern functionality to any living environment. The Modern Tableware collection expands the offering with a new material: Stainless Steel. The signature Bath Collection is also now available in a new Brushed Brass finish! Let’s take a closer look… Tina draws inspiration from many sources. The fluid lines of her silhouettes are reminiscent of the blue sea, while the organic contours of each piece emulate the curves of nature. Creativity blooms from treasures found during travel, and mouthwatering colours spring from translucent popsicles and scrumptious jelly beans.
The pieces in the collection are hand sculpted by Tina Frey in San Francisco, California. Sculpting starts with an idea which focuses on simplicity and function. The idea serves as the backbone when Tina sculpts each piece in clay. Hand made molds are created from each design and are used to cast the vessels in small batches by colour.
Each piece is hand sanded and carries a unique beauty that ensures the quality and integrity of each piece. Tina Frey is excited to be showcasing their wares at the following events: Maison & Objet – Paris January 19 – 23, 2018 Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre Hall 7 – Now! Design à Vivre Stand E27 NY NOW – New York February 4 – 7, 2018 Jacob K Javits Convention Center Accent on Design Booth 3902
