Plascon House Tour: Quintessential Simplicity
Today’s stylish designer home takes us into a beautifully light, airy and Scandi residence where the patio wrapped in green vines is as much a part of this abode as the simple, streamlined interior.
Keeping things simple, designers have chosen a backdrop of white as the colour of choice here. From the white ceilings and walls to the selection of light furniture and light-wood flooring, the neutral shades are bright and crisp. It is quintessential simplicity.
An elongated table emphasises the idea of casual dining in this open-plan space. Stylish wooden seating and a bench complete the Scandi look – a casual yet minimalist space for indoor entertainment. And yet, doors open up to the beautiful greenery and vines that envelope the patio space. Touches of greenery add freshness to this space – peering inside from the enclosed garden outside of the walls.
Like an enchanted garden, this patio area is a little gem and although it isn’t part of the home’s simple interior styling, it brings this home a sense of being connected to nature and the great outdoors.
There are many rooms and living spaces that add to the overall impression of this home. We love this simple living space with corner couch in muted tones – in keeping with the minimalist feel of the abode. A simple arrangement of naked tables adds a natural feel to this space and we love that the windows are left bare – allowing ample light to flood the interior spaces of this magical retreat.
How cool is this bedroom headboard idea? The entire wall behind the bed is used and a full circle not only ties into the overall colour scheme of the room but functions as a feature behind the master bed. We also love the rattan chandelier and hints of grey-blue that pop against the neutral colours here. Golden bedside lamps add a touch of refined sophistication to this space.
