Plascon House Tour: Nordic Living With A Spanish Twist
Taking us back to Spain, this minimalist home situated on a hilltop in Mallorca is beautifully simple and Scandi in style. It is a celebration of Nordic living that merges seamlessly with a Meditteranean twist. The result is a beautiful blend of Nordic minimalism with Mallorcan accents.
Pale colours, natural textures and raw materials work together wonderfully in this magical designer abode. We love the wrap-around open shelving in the entryway and the collection of woven hats on display here. The space feels light and natural – a fusion of light and textural elements from nature.
Built-in stone seating is ideal here – again hinting at the overwhelming connection to nature and the natural world, brought indoors and celebrated in every room. Gorgeous woven lampshades add another dimension to this crisp, white space. Old-world wooden shutters and stone flooring add charm here and act as a constant reminder about the architectural roots of this Spanish home.
A family, farm-style kitchen adds a lived-in, casual ambience to this home. Striking solid wood doors open up to this interesting space where wood, concrete and minimalist cabinetry brings an authentic sense of Scandinavian style to this are.
The outdoor spaces are simply exquisite – transporting us to ancient Spain with striking stonework and wonderful views of the surrounding landscapes. The outdoor entertainment areas are ideal here – adding a sense of luxury and sophistication to the exterior spaces around this magnificent home. We love the built-in stone seating that adds to the character of this space, as well as the oversized dining space that calls for stylish evenings under the Spanish stars!
