For the month of November, Nancy Designs highlighted the most popular trends noticed throughout 2021. Trends follow through from bringing the nature into your home, the minimalistic look and feel, as well as incorporating multipurpose spaces into your home.
Top trends that stand out:
Kitchen
Kitchens are the heart of the home, and this year, it has been highlighted as a place for entertaining, socialising, cooking and even working. It has become a multipurpose space for living. A few other design points to note in the kitchen is floor to ceiling tiling or large pieces of stone and glass enclosures.
Colour
Grey has remained as the everlasting backdrop colour where it can match any desired colour or space. Rich colours such as olive green, orange and blues were seen as the most popular, bringing a sense of spaciousness and warmth.
Natural Wood
Another trending design feature, is bring natural wood features into living spaces. It brings a sense of cosiness and allows for the opportunity to engage with creative DIY wood work.
