Mia Mélange Presents New Macramé Collections
Bring the latest colour and greenery trends to your home with inspired decor and macrame from Mia Mélange. As a proudly South African brand, they handcraft gorgeous interior décor and lifestyle products, using predominantly 100% cotton rope.
We love supporting local creative businesses and Mia Melange is no exception. Here talented artisans make high-quality baskets, bowls, planters, bags, ottomans, and more! And today, we’re unveiling their latest collections in some of the hottest colours of 2021.
Macramé – Olive Forest Collection
Macramé is the beautiful craft of knotting to produce gorgeous homeware items – from wall hangings to planters, jewellery and more. It’s therefore a great way to bring texture, colour and depth to your space.
Macramé – Olive Forest Collection
The striking Olive Forest Collection features stunning plant hangers in bold olive tones for a pop of greenery in your space. Pair with one of Mia Melange’s cotton rope planters, or with your favourite ceramic pot and plant. The end result is therefore something special to lift a colour scheme and inspire.
Mia Mélange planters are made from 100% cotton rope. The cotton is grown locally in South Africa by farmers who are members of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
Sunset Fog Collection
Inspired by the colours of a gorgeous sunset, this collection features bold tones to bring a little joy into your space. We love the choice of a bright and cheerful yellow – a great way to add a pop of colour to brighten up a room. Together with a neutral grey, the collection is totally inspired by the latest Pantone Colour trends.
Macramé – Sunset Fog Collection
“Our designs are inspired by a love for nature, texture, natural materials and ancient crafting techniques. We like to combine all of these to create modern and functional designs. We make all our products in our studio in the Winelands town of Stellenbosch, South Africa.”
Giving Back
Don’t miss out. Mia Mélange will be doing an auction of some products with other brands to raise money for Periods for Hope. Be sure to watch the media for more details.
