Malabar Slips Into Something New
Malabar designs and crafts exclusive artisanal furniture with a distinct artistic design aesthetic. Abandoning the rules of right and wrong, most recently Malabar launches the Future Classic’s collection that is all about to move, to shock, to offend, or to be fabulous in your interior décor.
Bold shapes and noble materials come together to art-fill your home. Malabar’s designers present you with pieces of desire
Malabar designers created a bold space with a museum-worthy furniture art collection to encourage interior designers to play with colours, shapes, and textiles.
Decorate your home as it was a tale of art. How? Mix bold colours and artsy patterns, adjust the contrast and abuse of artistic-like furniture.
The new collection is a visual translation of Malabar genesis. Art, handcraft, and exclusivity are part of Malabar’s history since the beginning.
Malabar teamed up with Grau Cerâmica to draw a Limited-Edition Ceramic Collection. Inordinately satisfying to touch, the hand-building takes passion, concentration, and a lot of time but, eventually, when the clay is in ceramists’ hands, it is shaped into art.
Each piece is made by hand in Portugal through the hands of Grau Cerâmica. The various parts of the collection also offer a warmth that comes from the use of clay. This soft natural material can be structural and functional in interior design. Employing the Malabar signature, the elegant proportions of each piece and curved lines adapt smoothly to modern interiors.
All the pieces are 100% made by hand, so slight variations in shape, colours, and size may occur, making each piece unique.
