Tashas Home Brings Restaurant-Worthy Tableware to Everyday Living
For two decades, Natasha Sideris, Founder and CEO of Tashas Group, has set tables across continents. In that time, certain objects earned their place. Not because they followed trends, nor because they were delicate, but because they worked; beautifully, consistently, and without fuss.
Tashas Home is a gathering of these objects.
Located at Dolce Vita in Sea Point, the retail concept translates the Group’s hospitality sensibility into a considered homeware collection. The space itself is intentionally restrained – warm, minimal and quietly elegant – allowing crockery, glassware, linens, and collectables to take centre stage. It is less a store than an extension of a philosophy: that good design should be lived with, used often and built to last.
Rooted in practical experience from high-volume restaurant environments, Tashas Home currently showcases a curated selection of pieces from three of the Group’s restaurant concepts, including Tasha’s, Avli and Arlecchino. Each piece has been selected for balance, weight and durability. The range offers crisp white crockery and simple glassware paired with classic linen tablecloths and napkins – timeless and relaxed – as tashas. Avli introduces Mediterranean character through textured finishes, silver-toned metalware and artisanal serving pieces designed for generous, shared dining. Arlecchino adds a playful Italian note, bringing personality without compromising function.
Materials span porcelain, stoneware, earthenware and bone china, from hand-thrown to slip-cast finishes. Glassware – flutes, goblets, tumblers and statement jugs – is chosen for clarity and comfort in hand. South African–made linens in 100% linen and cotton complete the offering, designed for everyday ritual rather than occasional display.
Published titles, including Tasha’s Café Classics and the Galaxy Bar Cocktail Book, introduce a narrative layer, complemented by a dedicated bar edit in-store.
Tashas Home marks the first step in a broader retail vision – an invitation to live with the objects that have shaped the Group’s restaurants for years, now reimagined for the home.
