Aura Interiors Introduces New Bespoke Homeware Collection
The designer home furniture and décor found at Aura Interiors, located in the heart of Cape Town, have become synonymous with contemporary design and timeless quality. To continue with this trend, the buyers at Aura decided to embark on a journey to find a new range of high-quality, Scandinavian home accessories handmade with natural, raw materials to add to their range.
Introducing Sydney based homeware label, ZAKKIA, where Swedish heritage meets natural homemade interior design. Known for their work in celebrating the natural beauty of raw materials and the unique finish you get from handmade goods, ZAKKIA have created the perfect set of minimalist pieces fitting seamlessly into the Aura family.
Swedish-born Sara Lundgren is the brilliant mind behind the ZAKKIA homeware range where she adopts a clean and minimal Scandinavian design philosophy. Each product is designed specifically to have more than one use and are carefully made by hand from only the highest quality raw materials to ensure the utmost durability.
Aura Interiors has brought an array of ZAKKIA items back to Cape Town to share with those of us with a flair for modern, minimalist interior design and clean, simple details.
From individually handmade blown glass vases inspired by modern yet classic silhouettes to speckled paint, natural toned clay vases and tall, sturdy and waterproof vases with a stunning black and white terrazzo effect, Aura now carries a designer ZAKKIA home accessory for everyone, no matter what your interior design preferences.
To see the ZAKKIA range up close and personal, the Aura showroom in Salt River, Cape Town is open 6 days a week. We’d recommend popping in for a visit or checking out heading to their website for a sneak peek.
