The Private House Company: Happy In The Hamptons
Sprawling from Southampton to Montauk on the Long Islands East End, immaculately manicured lawns and picture perfect towns make up this New Yorker’s weekend oasis. Today’s Hampton House is blissful and inviting, beautifully put together by the Private House Company.
The brief for this classic shingle clad home in the Hamptons was a tasteful beach oasis with unexpected coastal decor and lots of Hamptons charm. A fresh palette of white washed linens and natural textures invites you in. The understated elegance is grounded with clean ocean inspired blues and a balance of modern and classic pieces.
Carefully curated decor is beautifully laid out in each living space. From a glass top coffee table featuring books, greenery and more to a custom TV unit that further serves as a display cabinet for photographs and collectibles. Beautiful upholstered sofas bring added comfort to this spaces – in neutral shades to complement the interior.
This project embodies Hamptons understated glamour with blue and white china, driftwood, pale timber floors with a grey undertone, cane accents and French doors, flung open for the breeze. A large dining table is the perfect spot for family gatherings. A bold chandelier adds a tactile quality to this space while floor to ceiling drapes add movement and flow here.
Muted colour palettes offer a fresh perspective in each space. Here comfort, simplicity and a touch of glamour punctuates each room. A mix of textures and materials further adds to the lush yet luxurious ambience created in this Hamptons retreat.
The bedrooms too are large and inviting, with every detail catered to. A mix of plains and stripes, solid white wood furniture and even a poster-bed evokes a sense of sheer magnificence. Ample lighting adds the perfect interior glow in this space.
