Reflecting Art with RusTiq’s Range of Mirrors
The designers at RusTiq consider a mirror to be a blank canvas from which to fashion a combination of function and artistry, defying the basic concept of a mirror. The belief is that a mirror is not just a looking-glass.
The four mirrors within the RusTiq range deliver the functional characteristics of a mirror, adding depth and interest to a space. The designs are, however, individually considered to offer unique decorative design features. These designs are suitable for a variety of interior preferences and styles.
RusTiq’s range of mirrors are both practical and functional and conjures the homeowner’s unique style and story – as Coco Chanel so aptly declared: “An interior is the natural projection of the soul.” The carefully considered lines of RusTiq’s Diamond Mirror are reminiscent of the 1920’s Art Deco movement. It was designed with the intent of embodying reflective décor, serving as a statement piece for an entrance hall or entertainment area. Likewise, the rose-tinted Bevelled Hexagon Mirrors may function as décor, or be positioned to reflect strategically placed lighting. The rich colours of these mirrors are likely to add understated glamour and distinct pockets of shine to a dull wall. The copper Circular Mirror Set considers the user and individual’s creative story. Three varying sizes are included in the set, inspiring the individual to creatively place these pieces which are reminisce of illuminating art. A favourite is the modern take on the traditional Captain’s Mirror which is equally functional and visually appealing. The contrasting leather and metal embellishments is suitable for most modern homes. This mirror is designed with practicality in mind, without losing its decorative edge.
