Plascon House Tour: Fresh Scandi Home
A lively interior fills today’s beautifully fresh Scandi family home. Light filters through the open plan living space and bursts of playful colours add to the rich vibrancy and style of this modern residence.
This is evidently a family home. The living spaces are ideal for enjoying time spent with children and relaxing together as a family. Soft furnishings, durable furniture and a sleek yet vibrant look work wonderfully here.
The quaint dining room is beautiful with a neutral white backdrop and earthy wooden flooring. Modern art on the walls invites colour into this contemporary space and we love the simple yet stylish choice of wooden furniture with round table and matching chairs. The legs of each chair ties into the overall colour scheme with white and timber.
The kitchen is crisp in white. Modern streamlined cabinetry creates a harmonious flow here and we love the contemporary hexagonal backsplash tile that gives this space a sophisticated edge. Here too, pops of oaky tones and yellow accents bring life to this family-friendly space.
Although the children’s bedrooms in this house are filled with beautiful colours, textures and furniture that kids would love, the master suite is kept simple in muted shades of grey, beige and white for an elegant finish. The overall impression is one of calm – an ideal space in which to shut off from the rest of the world.
