Eva Solo – Classic Danish Designer Homeware
We recently had the pleasure of meeting the team behind the exquisite brand of classic Danish designer homeware, Eva Solo, during our recent trip to Ambiente.
Eva Solo is the epitome of classic design and a long legacy of passion in the industry, having been established over 100 years ago. Today, the company is managed and owned by Jan Engelbrecht, who represents the fourth generation of the founder’s family. Jan’s mother is called Eva, and her father, i.e. Jan’s grandfather, is one of the company’s three former CEOs. It was Eva’s name that inspired the company’s name.
Today the company has grown into an innovative design space and they believe that design is not just about outward appearances. Design is a combination of aesthetics, functionality and choice of materials. And good design produces beautiful products which are a joy to use and own. Eva Solo works with designers who excel within their respective fields, and over the years, these products have won more than 150 Danish and international design awards. Good design is simply at the heart of everything they do.
From the kitchen to the bathroom, and even the garden, Eva Solo caters for the entire household with innovative products that add style and functionality to these essential spaces.
Some of our favourite items include the Eva Solo range of kitchen utensils which offer a wide range of utensils with focus on functionality and design. Here you will find a wide utensils ranging from a timer and digital kitchen scale to a citrus squeezer and dressing shaker. For the bathroom, you’ll find the Eva Solo range to be versatile with everything from luxurious towels and smart soap to lotion dispensers and practical pots. They also have a range of furniture and accessories for modern homes.
We love the classic design elements that set this Danish brand apart and we’re excited to see the many new ranges as they emerge.
