The Hugging Hares are an exceptional choice for this special month. With their limited availability, they make an unforgettable gift. Available in two stunning finishes—the elegant pewter and the timeless old stone—these sculptures make a charming statement in any garden, courtyard, or balcony. It’s an unusual yet perfect gift. Behind the Scenes: Crafting Sculptures with Care
The journey of these sculptures starts at the Falconer Foundry in Mooi River, KwaZulu Natal. In early February, ten wax models were delivered, to be cast into bronze. Among these models are sculptures of Meerkats, Hares, and Pangolins. This bronze casting process is an intricate art form. We’re excited to see the updates on how these sculptures come to life over the next few months. Stay tuned for more progress reports as the pieces take shape!
The Allure of Bronze: Beauty That Lasts a Lifetime
There is something extraordinary about bronze—it’s a material that not only lasts forever but actually improves with age, gaining a natural patina that enhances its beauty over time. All of the sculptures in My Hares and Graces’ collection, both present and future, can be cast in this durable and stunning material.
The Hugging Hares are offered as a limited edition, with only 15 pieces available in the smaller size and just 10 in the larger size. The casting process takes around three months. However, it’s well worth the wait to have a piece of art that will continue to evolve and impress for generations.
Outdoor Living Trends
Trends in outdoor and alfresco living continue to evolve, and sculptures play a significant role in these designs. As people embrace sustainable, durable, and beautiful additions to their gardens, bronze sculptures become a perfect fit. These pieces not only enhance the aesthetic of any space but also bring a sense of timeless artistry.
Sculptures like Hope and Dancer in bronze are beautiful examples of how art can capture movement, emotion, and the spirit of nature. These works will elevate any outdoor space. Additionally, they offer a unique combination of elegance and strength that will stand the test of time.
