Ardmore’s Zambezi Collection Takes Inspiration from Africa
The stage is truly ours for inspiration and setting world trends – Africa continues to leave a lasting impression on global design trends and we love the use of natural and distinctly African motifs that are proudly on show today, all across the world.
This year at Maison & Objet Paris, one of the key trends was Animal Motifs, where animals take centre stage in design. This resonated with the team at Ardmore Design, as they garner inspiration from the flora and fauna that surrounds us in Africa. For their latest fabric range, The Zambezi Collection, they looked to the great Zambezi River and the life it supports. The result is a magical collection of playful monkeys, exotic flowers and cheeky crocodiles – a mischievous natural wonderland. Incorporate the trend into your home with their statement Zambezi sofa, which combines large-scale elements from the new fabric range. For a more subtle design nod to the trend, opt for scatter cushions to update your home with minimal effort and expense. These cushions are now available in luxe silks and velvets – perfect for upping the glamour stakes on dark winter nights. We love the moody colour tones and pops of colour that are proudly African.
