Villeroy & Boch: Design Takes Flight
Villeroy & Boch captures a dash of colour in its new decor NewWave Animals of the World. The new coffee cups and mugs are a harmonious combination of decor and shape – with striking colourful butterflies complementing the curvaceous design.
Each decorative mug is available in a selection of sizes to suit individual preferences: from a large coffee mug to a small cup for espresso or French café au lait. They make attractive collector’s items on their own or look equally good coordinated with the pure-white NewWave and other cups from the Animal series. Let your imagination take flight!
Butterfly Prints – 2016/17 trend pattern
Villeroy & Boch is right on trend with its delicate butterfly decor. It reflects the latest looks from international catwalks, with hosts of flying butterflies in all shapes and colours. In their new incarnation as a decor on premium porcelain, these feather-light creatures are the third addition to the Animals of the World series. This tribute to the diverse world of nature began in 2015 with four exotic birds. Followed by a dive into the oceans in 2016, with tropical fish from Australia’s Great Barrier Reef on a selection of coffee cups. To mark the 15th anniversary of the NewWave collection, the manufacturer is now giving its design wings.
Exotic butterflies from Central and South America
The realistic portrayals of these exotic creatures impress with great attention to detail and technical perfection. Each of the four species is a lifelike representation of its live counterpart, with dots, stripes and different wing shapes. The butterflies are native to Columbia, Cuba, Costa Rica and Brazil. Each species is worthy of protection and unique: Morpho Cypris (blue), Orange-splashed Sulphur (orange), Noble Leafwing (red) and Deep Green Hairstreak (green). To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the NewWave collection, they are promoting less 30% on all collection items from the NewWave range.
