Ambiente: Aveva Design
Honest relationships, joy for your eyes and products for the heart
Aveva Design continues to inspire us, the industry and continues in a timeless fashion against the ever changing trends we see come and go. We are seeing a lot of Scandinavian design showing up throughout the globe, which often pops up in our house tours. The trend is here to stay, infiltrating modern memory into the home. With a passion for colors, they love to create colorful functional objects. Aveva focuses on sustainable ideas and materials, their partnership between form, function and color create the foundation for products that last. Modern and playful, Aveva originated with the finesse and passion from the founder eva. All design starts with a person, and in this particular area, aveva simply means by eva in Swedish. Their aim is to challenge traditional and natural materials and stretch their possibilities by combining the hard and soft materials in interior design. Aveva has retaken the hand felted wool into the living area, keeping an old tradition alive while creating new objects. The combination and contrasts of wood and wool is a clear part of their trademark, but as time goes by, new materials will inspire the aesthetic. And in their choice of materials, each one is consciously and carefully selected to ensure sustainability for the environment and manufacturers, partners and employees. They produce as much as they can in Scandinavia, but also work with handcrafted production in other parts of the world where the traditions stayed alive. Find out more about Aveva Designs here
